RETURNS & EXCHANGES POLICY (SHARIAH-COMPLIANT)

At Al Sukoon Bangladesh, we are committed to conducting business ethically, with transparency, and in accordance with Islamic principles. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Our return policy is designed to uphold justice and fairness for both the buyer and the seller, leveraging the Islamic concept of Khiyar.

The Principle of Khiyar (Option)
In Islamic commercial law (Fiqh al-Mu'amalat), a buyer generally has certain "options" to ensure mutual consent and prevent loss. These include:
a) Khiyar al-Ru'yah (Option of Inspection): Since you are purchasing online without physically seeing the goods, you have the right to inspect the item upon delivery. If the item is not as described in the online catalog, you have the option to accept or reject it.
b) Khiyar al-'Ayb (Option of Defect): You have the right to return an item if you discover a defect that reduces its value or makes it unfit for its intended purpose, which was not disclosed at the time of sale.
c) Khiyar al-Shart (Option of Condition): We provide a specific timeframe for returns (detailed below) during which you can exercise your right to return the item.

You have 3 (three) days from the date of delivery to claim for the return or exchange if:
• The product is damaged, stained, defected, wrong or incomplete. The products must be unused in the original packaging with labels and protective stickers attached.
• The product received does not match the size ordered.
• If you are unsatisfied with the size you purchased and would like to receive a different size, you can email us.
• In case you receive an opened or unsealed box or packaging, please inform us immediately to avoid any claims.
• Exchanges during a sale or on a discounted product are ONLY applicable if the product received does not match the product you have ordered.
• Due to differences in color monitors/ screens and lighting used during photo shoots, the exact color or texture of the final item may slightly vary from what is seen on screen, therefore products cannot be exchanged for this reason.
• The policies listed above are applicable for orders delivered within Bangladesh.
• Please be advised that inner-wear products are non-returnable/ exchangeable due to the nature of the products and to maintain hygiene standards.
• Wooden boxes are not eligible for exchange.
• Groom Collection articles are not eligible for exchange.
• Accessories, fragrances, and cosmetics cannot be exchanged or returned due to hygiene and safety reasons.

Please Note: In the unfortunate event that you receive a damaged or defective product, we kindly ask that you provide clear evidence, such as images or videos, showcasing the issue within 3 (three) days of delivery. This step is mandatory for us to address your concern effectively. Upon receiving your proof, our team will promptly investigate the matter and ensure an appropriate resolution is provided. We encourage you to check the product in the presence of the delivery person. If you decide to return the product at that moment due to a clear mismatch with the description or a visible defect, the return can often be arranged immediately.

How to apply for a return?
• To return an item, please email us with the return reason and order details.
• There might be cases where our customer support team will route you to the nearest Outlet for an exchange.
• Once our customer support team approves the return, you will be requested to send the parcel to our official address.
• Please note that you are responsible for the cost of returning the items to us.

When will return be processed?
• We aim to process all returns within 5 (five) to 7 (seven) working days of receipt.
• During busy periods please allow up to 14 (fourteen) working days for your return to be processed.

Do we offer refunds?
• Unfortunately, we don't offer any refunds. However, In the case where we won't be able to offer an exchange or any solution, we may offer a refund via store credit/ voucher (which is only applicable ONLINE).
• We shall not entertain any claims pertaining to refunds in case the customer refuses to accept the parcel at the time of delivery. Instead, store credit (usable on the website ONLY) shall be issued against the refused parcel once it has been received back at our Warehouse.
• In cases where an article does not meet our quality standards, a voucher will be issued for future use once the remaining items in the order are shipped (for paid orders). If the entire paid order is canceled, the refund will be provided as store credit.
• The customer will be responsible for any changes in currency exchange rates.
• Al Sukoon Bangladesh will not be responsible for any difference in amount due to currency conversions.
• The minimum period for processing store credit is 15 (fifteen) to 30 (thirty) working days depending on the mode of payment.

Voucher Redemption Policy
• Vouchers can be applied to purchases made through our official website www.alsukoonbd.com only.
• Each voucher is for ONE-TIME use only and is valid for a single transaction. Multiple vouchers cannot be combined while placing an order.
• Vouchers are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit. Any unused balance will not be refunded.
• Enter the voucher code at checkout in the “discount code” box. Only one code may be used per order.
• If the voucher value exceeds the total purchase amount, any remaining balance will be forfeited and cannot be used in subsequent orders.
• By redeeming a voucher, the customer agrees to these terms and conditions.

International Orders
• Currently, Al Sukoon Bangladesh does not have a Return policy for international orders as all the products in the order are individually checked by the QC department before packing and handing over to the courier.
• If the customer refuses to accept the order at the time of delivery, Al Sukoon Bangladesh is not obliged to return, refund, or compensate them for the order.
• In special cases, if an exchange is approved, customers are required to dispatch and return our products to our operations facility based in Dhaka, Bangladesh to be further checked, and if any issue is found, the customer will be facilitated accordingly.
• Return and custom charges are to be borne by customers.
• Articles purchased on sale are not qualified for exchange or return.

Customized and Make to Orders
Customized orders include alterations and make-to-measure products that CANNOT be refunded or exchanged. However, if you received an incorrect measurement, you could send us pictorial evidence of the error in alterations, and we will try to fix the issue.
